In Mena, the Mena Bearcats beat the Centerpoint Knights 40-0.

In Jessiville, the Jessiville Lions beat the Mt. Ida Lions
40-20. Mt. Ida was led by quarterback Dustin Elder who passed
for 108 yards including a 26 yard touchdown pass to Trevor
Scurlock. Mt. Ida (0-2) rushed for 110 yards including a 17
yard touchdown run by Travis Beechy and a 20-yard touchdown
scamper by Josh Hall. The Jessiville Lions option offense
rushed for 357 yards. The Mt. Ida Lions next game is this
Friday night at home against Lavaca Golden Arrows. Listen to
